What began in 1990 with four friends working in instrumentation, electrical systems, and industrial automation has grown into a global engineering success story. Over the past three decades, more than 2,500 professionals have joined EKIUM’s journey, transforming a Lyon-based company into a multi-disciplinary engineering and automation partner for the process industries worldwide.

Expanding in the UK

EKIUM development in the UK started in early 2017 when it was awarded the Implementation and qualification studies contract for the Emergency Diesels Generators of the Hinkley Point C nuclear station.

In 2021, building on this success, EKIUM UK became a trusted partner of EDVANCE UK (now EPR-E) for Engineering and Support Services.

Today, EKIUM UK is actively involved in key national energy infrastructure projects, including Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, while also supporting the development of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and renewable energy initiatives.
